Kumihimo is Japanese braiding, and is often combined with beads to make beautiful jewelry. The literal translation of kumihimo means the "coming together (kumi) of threads (himo)".
There are a number of ways that beaders, jewelry makers, quilters, braiders and other artists and craftsmen can begin Kumihimo braiding. The Kumihimo disk featured here is an absolute must. It is lightweight, portable, and is easy to use.
